This Week at Yellow Door

(November 23, 2018)

We trust you all had a happy Thanksgiving with family and friends. We at Yellow Door are thankful for our donors, partners and volunteers. Most of all we are grateful to be able to serve families in their time of need.

This week, yet another UVA Children's Hospital patient got to go home! Gracie and her mom Wendy had been with us at one of the Stone Creek Village apartments since October 21st, while Gracie recovered from a transplant of her cancerous liver. As you can see by these photos, Gracie is a darling little girl with boundless energy and optimism. All the best Gracie! Gracie Strong!

Tomorrow is GivingTuesday, a global day of giving fueled by the power of social media and collaboration. Celebrated on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving and the widely recognized shopping events Black Friday and Cyber Monday, GivingTuesday kicks off the charitable season, when many focus on their holiday and end-of-year giving. Please support the Yellow Door Foundation! Your tax-deductible donation helps Yellow Door provide a free, safe-clean environment for the families of children fighting cancer or receiving an organ transplant. Thank you!
