Ways you can make a difference in the lives of these families

Financial Contribution

We can only help families find a home away from home while their child receives medical treatment if we have the support of people like you.  You can help these families in their time of need by making a tax-deductible donation today.  Even small amounts help a lot!

Sisters of Kappa Kappa Gamma

As a sister of Kappa Kappa Gamma at the University of Virginia class of 1980, Executive Director JoAnne McTague knows that philanthropy has always been an important part of being a Kappa.

One of our goals at the Yellow Door Foundation is to raise the money necessary to establish and sustain a two-bedroom apartment, honoring the sisters of KKG.  "I am hopeful that together we can make this Kappa House a reality."  Annual sponsorship of a 2-bedroom apartment at Stone Creek Village is $24,000.

Thank you to Maggie and Jay Bourgeois for getting it started.  Forty women giving $50/month gets it done!

Your support will directly provide these families with long-term lodging they could otherwise not afford, while their child is undergoing treatment at UVA Children's Hospital.
